JOB SUMMARY
The Training Project Manager, assigned to one of Pinkerton's largest global clients, will serve as a valued member of the Global Safety and Security (GSS) team. As part of the Operational Excellence group, the Training Project Manager oversees training projects supporting the corporate security team and the client's global workforce on topics related to workplace safety and security. This role combines project management with instructional design and computer-based training development and contributes to the strategic direction of learning initiatives.

This role can be based anywhere (remote) within the United States.

About the Role

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, CERTIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in the humanities or a related field, with 3-5 years of experience in instructional design and development and management of training products and curriculum in large organizations.

COMPETENCIES
Professional training certification preferred.
Knowledge of training management within military, law enforcement, emergency management, or industrial safety.
Knowledge of applied instructional design principles and adult learning theory.
Proficiency in Articulate 360 (Rise and Storyline) or a similar eLearning content authoring platform.
Knowledge of Learning Management System administration, such as uploading courses, managing rosters, tracking learner progress, and generating reports.
Familiarity with current digital content accessibility standards, (Section 508, WCAG).
Project management skills.
Able to adapt as the needs and requirements of the supported organization evolve.
Able to multi-task and organize workload for effective implementation.
Attention to detail and accuracy in the delivery of effective, high-quality learning experiences.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Able to interact effectively at all levels and across diverse cultures.
Consistently deliver on commitments and achieve expected business results.
Computer skills; Microsoft Office, Smartsheet or similar project management software, LMS, Learning content authoring tools.

Requirements 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Represent Pinkerton's core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence.
Manage, administer, and coordinate training projects and documentation, ensuring timely completion, testing, and feedback.
Coordinate with LMS administrators to publish and manage corporate eLearning courses.
Develop and deliver engaging and effective eLearning courses using Articulate360 (Rise and Storyline), or a similar content authoring platform.
Apply instructional design principles and industry-leading practices to create engaging and interactive learning experiences.
Incorporate multimedia elements such as video and animation.
Plan and manage live/virtual training events, including scheduling, webinar support, documentation, and reporting.
Collaborate with subject matter experts and vendors to gather content, and ensure instructional accuracy and seamless training delivery.
Provide project management support for the L&D program including record-keeping, reporting, support request processing, and other related tasks.
Contribute to various training-related projects and initiatives while gaining exposure to different aspects of the L&D program.
Maintain and update existing eLearning content as needed.
Other duties, as assigned.

SALARY & BENEFITS

Rate of pay: $75,000 - $82,000 / year, depending on qualifications & experience.
