ABOUT THE MEA

Marine Executive Association (MEA) – "Networking Core Values"

Like many other organizations, the Marine Corps is known for taking care of its own. What sets the

Marine Corps apart is the high standards of professionalism, discipline, and core values that frame the Marine's character. Taking care of our own is not just a catchphrase, but also an MEA commitment of:

"Marines helping Marines" with a network of over 22,500 connections and opportunities.

Shared esprit de corps experiences and inspired value through resume reviews and mentoring.

Preparing Marines in transitioning towards a desired profession and return on investment (ROI).

Supporting our pledge of "Connecting Marine's Talent with Job Opportunities."

The Marine Executive Association (MEA), a non-profit 501(c)(19), veterans' organization that has been supporting transitioning Marines (active and reserve) for 40-years. MEA is a national, membership, volunteer, non-profit organization of former, retired, and current active-duty Marines who have agreed to share their job hunting and hiring experiences with fellow Marines of all ranks – embracing our culture of "Once a Marine, Always a Marine" –translation Marine for life!

MEA's mission is to assist Marines seeking transition assistance from active duty or reserve/retired status, leaving the Corps at the end of obligated service, or moving from one civilian career to another.

NOTE: MEA does not place Marines in jobs; however, we do provide resources through our network of "Marines helping Marines" seeking assistance as one transitions toward their future employment.

Transition assistance includes:

Resume review

Job hunting tips and tools

Job posting by employers

Resume posting by Marines

Resume and interview coaching by volunteer Marine

The MEA membership provides a weekly E-Mail list of newly posted jobs (for Marines) and resumes (for employers). Sign up for our weekly letter and other updates below.
