Lumbee Tribe Enterprises, LLC (LTE) is a small disadvantaged business that is the first “for profit” company that is tribal-owned by the Lumbee Tribe of North Carolina. LTE has expertise in air and missile defense operations and has capabilities in acquisition programmatic support. LTE began federal contract work on 1 September 2011 providing administration, management, and systems engineering support to the Marine Corps Systems Command at Quantico, Virginia. In January 2012, LTE began supporting the Joint Special Operations Command at Ft. Bragg, North Carolina scripting and education support to USSOCOM elements of the Special Operations community for the development of full spectrum special operations training. Additionally, LTE won a 7-year contract in Dec 16 with the Space and Missile Defense Command in Huntsville, AL and is supporting the Joint Communications Support Element in Central Command at MacDill AFB, Florida with information technology expertise. LTE is providing AT&T a proof of concept in Cloud Technology capabilities. LTE provides contracts management consulting for commercial contractors. In 2017, LTE has been awarded 3 PRIME contracts: LTE was awarded a $20.1M 8(a) PRIME contract to support the Program Executive Officer-Land Systems (PEO-LS), Medium/Heavy Tactical Vehicle office at Quantico VA. LTE received an 8(a) PRIME award on 27 Sep 2017 with the United States Army Medical Command. LTE was awarded a $16.5M 8(a) PRIME contract on 30 Sep 2017 with the United States Department of State.
LTE has other pending contracts that are being worked with other Government agencies and we expect awards NLT 31 Dec 17. The anticipated awards are in support of R&D Engineering and Technical support to the Joint Non-Lethal Weapons Directorate at Quantico, VA, and Logistics support to the United States Department of State in Washington, DC.
