ETHOS RISK SERVICES

Industry: Security and Investigations.

Description: Ethos Risk Services is a full service investigative and risk mitigation company providing national coverage to our insurance clients that primarily consist of worker’s compensation, auto liability, homeowner’s, life and health, and disability carriers. We offer a number of investigative services including field surveillance, executive protection (and security consulting), SIU (special investigations), fraud investigations (such as investigating suspicious insurance claims such as suspected arson fires or staged motor vehicle accidents), anti-counterfeiting operations, and more.

Looking to hire: No investigative experience is necessary, although a military background or educational history in criminology (or a similar field) is preferred. After hire, employees must be willing to obtain their private investigators license for the state in which they reside, so that they will be legally allowed to work in the field. If an employee is hired without a PI license, legally they will be limited to in-house investigative services until they can get their license. Ethos will pay for half of the cost of the employee's PI course.

To fill positions: All our positions are open to veterans. The most sought-after position is that of Field Investigator, for which we have needs in all 50 states. The position involves a good deal of travel so a reliable means of transportation is a must. Field Investigators perform a multitude of tasks such as video surveillance from a fixed or mobile position in the field, motor vehicle accident scene investigations, insurance fraud investigations (such as investigating suspicious insurance claims, e.g. suspected arson fires or staged motor vehicle accidents), taking recorded statements, process serving, physical security, brand protection and anti-counterfeiting operations, and more.
