Position Title:  Theater Security Cooperation Analyst, I MEF G3

 Position Location:  Camp Pendleton, CA

 Employment Status:  Full time (exempt) employee with competitive benefits package contingent upon contract award

 Position Description:  II Corps Consultants, Inc. is seeking experienced staff officers to provide I MEF G3 with theater security cooperation (TSC) support from concept development through execution.  Advises senior leadership in matters relating to TSC and political military policy.  Assists in development of long term engagement plans and exercise plans that support Combatant Command country plans.  Plan and lead meetings with all TSC stakeholders.  Monitors and analyzes policy issues in assigned areas of responsibility that involve I MEF forces.  Integrate TSC actions with staff including information operations, global force management, Navy Fleet commands, and planned training and exercise plans.

Job Requirements (minimum):  Secret Clearance, in JPAS/DSS required. The ideal fit for this position is a veteran with experience in the Marine Corps serving on a general officer level staff.  Extensive experience planning and administering theater security cooperation efforts at the MARFOR level or above.   Firm understanding of Marine Corps Planning Process.

Highly Desired Skills:  The candidate should have experience developing products, briefs, orders, and policy at the 3 star staff level.  This includes participating in operational planning teams (OPT) and working groups to solve military problems.  Conversant in COCOM security cooperation planning, State Department country plans, TSC specific policy and funding. Experience as a foreign area officer, regional area officer, or within a U.S. Embassy.  Formal education in international affairs, political science, or national security studies.
