We’re looking for a Senior Intelligence Analyst to help build a new Threat Intelligence Team. This team will provide advanced situational awareness of relevant threats, perform risk assessments, as well as assist in triaging and managing incidents in support. The ideal candidate has exceptional critical thinking skills, attention to detail and empathy, with prior analysis and investigations experience. A background in protective intelligence and behavioral analysis is preferred.


Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Collects, evaluates, and disseminates open-source and other data independently as well as under the direction
  • Prepares threat intelligence reports and risk assessments on a scheduled and on-demand basis to relevant organization stakeholders
  • Monitors physical and cyber threat sources in real time for general awareness and issues that could impact operations during advance team and mission activities
  • Develops and issues intelligence communications regarding evolving threats with potential to impact key stakeholders, staff or operations
  • Evaluates and diagnoses escalating situations, applies critical thinking and coordinates with other Security personnel as needed
  • Supports complex investigations/research upon request
  • Triages and analyzes inbound correspondence, which includes digital, handwritten, and telephonic messages
  • Drafts BOLOs (Be on the Lookout) as needed
  • Interviews potential persons of interest, as needed
  • Develops key personnel, and working culture
  • Handles sensitive and confidential information with limited supervision
  • Explore and implement new case management, data aggregation solutions
  • Implements new version of case management and data aggregation systems, which may include data migration tasks
  • Help develop new SOPs and deliverable templates
  • Establishes training programs for other Intelligence Analysts


Education and Work Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree (required) and master’s degree (preferred) in security and intelligence, political science, international development/relations or related field
  • Professional training in security analysis (preferred)
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and eligible to work in the United States (required)
  • A strong working knowledge of current global dynamics, including the geopolitical landscape and international security (preferred)
  • Experience with de-escalation and interviewing potential persons of interest (preferred)
  • 3-5 years of experience as an open source threat analyst (preferred)
  • One or more years of experience in an influential enterprise or multinational organization with an international scope (preferred)
  • Overseas experience (preferred)
  • Experience with risk analysis and incident management (required)
  • Experience with protective and high value asset threat intelligence (preferred)
  • Well-versed in security incidence response, mitigation, and recovery (preferred)
