Deputy Project Manager – Support (DPMS)

Responsibilities:

  1. Assist the PM in providing leadership, management, and direction for support personnel.
  2. Manage all aspects of planning, scheduling, organizing, and assessing performance of assigned support personnel.
  3. Ensure that all TO support personnel abide by the contract mandated standards of conduct.
  4. Assign and allocate Contractor-provided housing and other resources. For using U.S. Government-provided housing, responsible for coordinating with post management for the smooth transition-in and transition-out of Contractor personnel.

Qualifications:

For bio approval, the DPMS shall meet the following qualifications:

  1. Must be a U.S. citizen.
  2. Must possess either:
  1. A Master’s degree from an accredited institution and three (3) years of applicable work experience.

a.       A minimum of three (3) years of this experience must have been planning, evaluating, analyzing, and implementing Government logistics and support services programs.

b.      A minimum of one (1) year of this experience must have been supervisory experience.

  1. A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution and six (6) years of applicable work experience.

a.       A minimum of five (5) years of this experience must have been work in planning, evaluating, analyzing, and implementing Government logistics and support services programs.

b.      A minimum of two (2) years of this experience must have been supervisory experience.

  1. An Associate’s degree from an accredited institution and nine (9) years of applicable work experience.

a.       A minimum of seven (7) years of this experience must have been work in planning, evaluating, analyzing, and implementing Government logistics and support services programs.

b.      A minimum of three (3) years of this experience must have been supervisory experience.

  1. Ten (10) years of applicable work experience providing services on DS-related program.

a.       A minimum of six (6) years of this experience must have been work in planning, evaluating, analyzing, and implementing Government security-type programs, specifically personal protection, emergency response team, or guard force.

b.      A minimum of six (6) years of this experience must have been supervisory experience.

  1. Must attend and successfully complete a supervisory course meeting the requirements.  

Upon bio approval and before beginning work on the contract, the DPMS shall:

  1. Attend and successfully complete the NPSS training course.
  2. Obtain and maintain a Personnel Security Clearance.
  3. Possess no impediments to traveling overseas to and within countries that are considered dangerous or unhealthy in general, or to the country or countries.
