Deputy Project Manager – Facilities (DPMF)

Responsibilities:

  1. Plan, design, and manage buildings and grounds, as well as manage the associated support personnel.
  2. Responsible for compound operations and maintenance, including but are not limited to:
  1. Space and workplace planning
  2. Budgeting
  3. Lease management
  4. Renovations
  5. Facility planning and design.
  1. Ensure that facilities meet Government regulations and environmental, health, and security standards.
  2. Responsible for monitoring the facilities to ensure that they remain safe, secure, and well-maintained.
  3. Assign and allocate Contractor-provided housing and other TO resources. For TOs using Government-provided housing, responsible for coordinating with Post management for the smooth transition-in and transition-out of Contractor personnel.

Qualifications:

For bio approval, the DPMF shall meet the following qualifications:

  1. Must be a U.S. citizen.
  2. Must possess either:
  1. A Master’s degree from an accredited institution and three (3) years of applicable work experience.

a.       A minimum of two (2) years of this experience must have been work in planning, evaluating, analyzing, and implementing facility design and management projects.

b.      A minimum of one (1) year of this experience must have been supervisory experience.

  1. A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution and six (6) years of applicable work experience.

a.       A minimum of five (5) years of this experience must have been work in planning, evaluating, analyzing, and implementing facility design and management projects.

b.      A minimum of two (2) years of this experience must have been supervisory experience.

  1. An Associate’s degree from an accredited institution and nine (9) years of applicable work experience.

a.       A minimum of seven (7) years of this experience must have been work in planning, evaluating, analyzing, and implementing facility design and management projects.

b.      A minimum of three (3) years of this experience must have been supervisory experience.

  1. Ten (10) years of applicable work experience providing services on DS-related security program.

a.       A minimum of six (6) years of this experience must have been work in planning, evaluating, analyzing, and implementing Government security-type programs, specifically personal protection, emergency response team, or guard force.

b.      A minimum of six (6) years of this experience must have been supervisory experience.

C.  Must attend and successfully complete a supervisory course.

Upon bio approval and before beginning work on the contract, the DPMF shall:

  1. Attend and successfully complete the training course.
  2. Attend and successfully complete the supervisory training course.
  3. Obtain and maintain a Personnel Security Clearance.
  4. Possess no impediments to traveling overseas to and within countries that are considered dangerous or unhealthy in general, or to the country or countries assigned.
