Job Description:

 

CACI is seeking a Cybersecurity Junior Analyst to assist our Cybersecurity Engineer with supporting the US Navy.

 

 

What You’ll Get to Do

 

Participate in a broad array of system concept & design efforts this includes legacy IA and the new RMF process in support of PMS 325.

Provide input to the Risk Management Framework process activities and related documentation (e.g., system life-cycle support plans, concept of operations, operational procedures, and maintenance training materials).

Provide input into various Cybersecurity related Navy acquisition documents to include Cybersecurity Strategy, Program Protection Plan, Critical Component Analysis, Cyber Test plans, and CYBERSAFE.

Familiarity with IT network components, network design, and security.

Developing Cybersecurity documentation based on DoD 5000 guidance and processes, including Cybersecurity Strategy, Program Protection Plan, Test & Evaluation Master Plan along with various other documents as required for Navy acquisition programs.

Develop Cyber acquisition schedule

Support NAVSEA Program Office providing input into Cyber funding requirements

Conduct Gap – Testing to support system-of-systems (SoS) and enclave cyber testing.

Participate in engineering reviews of drawings, interfaces, and functional specifications against cybersecurity requirements.

Support COTF / DOT&E Cyber Security Testing Requirements.

Develop, review, and implement mission systems’ test procedures.

Provide programmatic support for programs’ objectives and acquisition strategies, and other programmatic documentation.

Provide input for ship program acquisition strategies, including identification of and scheduling for acquisition documents.

Perform liaison with other organizations, both Governmental and non-governmental, as needed to resolve program issues.

Prepare and provide input to Plan of Action and Milestone (POA&M) documents.

Perform other program management and acquisition tasks as assigned.

Attend meetings including on-site (travel) as required by the program office.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications

 

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent knowledge in Information Technology (IT), Cybersecurity, risk management and controls.

3+ years Navy program management, Government technical management, or Industry business management

Knowledge of current industry methods for evaluating, implementing, and disseminating information technology (IT) assessment, monitoring, detection, and remediation tools and procedures utilizing standards-based concepts and capabilities.

A minimum of introductory experience performing security control assessments

Skill in assessing security controls based on cybersecurity principles and tenants. (e.g., NIST SP 800-53, Risk Management Framework (RMF), Cybersecurity Framework, etc.).

Ability to apply cybersecurity and privacy principles to organizational requirements (relevant to confidentiality, integrity, availability, authentication, non-repudiation).

Ability to function in a collaborative environment, seeking continuous consultation with other analysts and experts—both internal and external to the organization—to leverage analytical and technical expertise.
