OPPORTUNITY DESCRIPTION: C++ Developer

JOB DESCRIPTION: We are looking for C++ developers (Junior and Senior level) responsible for building applications that may range from desktop applications to native mobile applications and embedded systems. Your primary responsibility will be to design and develop these applications, and to coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the infrastructure.

·        Flight software (e.g., software running on-board a satellite that’s in orbit) development

·        Design, build, and maintain efficient and reliable C++ code

·        Work closely with other engineers to develop new products

·        Work on extensions of existing products

·        Suggest and implement improvements on current products

·        Plan, design, develop, manage, document, test, deploy, and support new and existing modules

·        Development of the next generation software

·        Basic Database systems – indexes, filters

·        Proficiency in C++ compliant languages such as C, Java, and Python.

·        Extensive experience in deploying software across a variety of platforms and operating systems.

·        Knowledge of SQL, JavaScript, and XML.

·        Superb analytical and problem-solving skills.

·        Excellent collaboration and communication skills.

·        Great organizational and time management skills.

·        Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

·        Expert-level C++

·        Real-time flight software experience

·        5+ years’ experience in C++ development

·        Current knowledge of C++ standards and specifications.

·        Proficiency in C++ compliant languages such as C, Java, and Python.

·        Extensive experience in deploying software across a variety of platforms and operating systems.

·        Knowledge of SQL, JavaScript, and XML.

·        Superb analytical and problem-solving skills.

·        Excellent collaboration and communication skills.

·        Great organizational and time management skills.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or similar. C++ certification preferred.

REQUIRED KSAs:

·        Knowledge of computer hardware and software, including applications and programming.

·        Knowledge of arithmetic, algebra, geometry, calculus, statistics, and their applications.
