661 Electronics Technician III

Skylla Engineering is seeking an Electronics Technician III that can work autonomously in a dynamic environment with responsibilities to provide technical and functional support and expertise in the integration, kitting, and quality control for the Network on the Move (NOTM) Program. The duties include but are not limited to:
-Test kits built for the NOTM Program.
-Must be able to survey as directed CAM, GFP/GFM, cables and hardware for low level testing support to determine appropriate compliance and disposition of equipment.
-Must be able to assist in identifying and requisitioning missing, serviceable piece parts, and line replacement units (LRU) as directed.
-Must be able to support In Process Inspections (IPI’s), Production Acceptance Testing (PAT’s), to include VSWR, power output, and co-site testing, and confirm system and product capabilities by design feasibility and testing methods.
-Must be able to prepare Production/Integration Test Plans.
-Must be able to assist in the development of training and test material.
-Must be able to troubleshoot faulty assemblies within parameters, not voiding the warranty.
-Must be knowledgeable in support testing and check out of vendor provided or internally developed racks, ﬁeld change kits, enclosures, cases, and other systems as they apply to the project.
-Must be able to perform a system test to verify all components function together and a system-to-system test to verify that the C5ISR products are inter-operable.
-Must be able to help in the Pack out area for final inspection, packaging, and prep for shipping. This include scanning and preparation of documentation for accounting of compliance and completeness, submitting required documentation, and tracking the kit’s level of completion as they are produced.
Education: High School diploma or GED.
Must have formal electronics training from: Technical School, or Class A or B military school in electronics or communications, or four (4) year electronics apprentice program.
Formal electronics training, to include: Installation Tasks, Soldering, Cable Dressing, Cable Tray design, Conduit, and Making/Repairing Connectors.
Experience: Eight (8) years of practical experience, to include: Electronics Repair, Maintenance, Installation and Checkout. Two (2) years of experience, to include: supervision, and shop practices. Three (3) years of practical experience, to include: electronics repair and installation, and six (6) years of experience with the electronic maintenance. Experience may be achieved simultaneously.
