About the Role

RMGS, Inc. is currently recruiting a Mission Planning and Common Intelligence Picture (CIP)/Common Operating Picture (COP) Specialist Instructor in Virginia Beach, Virginia, in support of Special Operations Forces. This position is contingent upon contract award.

Roles and Responsibilities

 Conduct training for extended periods in all weather conditions, ranging from minus 5 to 120 degrees Fahrenheit in a safe and efficient environment
 Assist in coordinating training resources, including facilities, resources, and personnel
 Assist in designing, developing, delivering, standardizing, and maintaining/updating course curricula and associated training products (instructor led; computer-based, interactive courseware; and long-distance instruction modules) for emerging technologies and management tools
 Assist in creating doctrine and exercise planning procedures
 Provide input and layout assistance for audiovisual presentations and other media
 Provide surge (travel) support as required
 Submit administrative muster reports to the Government daily
 Assist in performing logistics support for field exercises
 Operate government-owned or leased vehicles
 Complete annual instructor sustainment training
 Assist in synchronizing joint force doctrine and capabilities to integrate multiple units and organizations
 Assist in providing technical writing and administrative support, including after-action reports


Required Qualifications and Experience

 Secret security clearance
 Valid state driver’s license
 Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel
 Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with others both verbally and in writing
 Honorable discharge from military service
 No loss of applied specialization(s) during military career
 Ability to board and ride on military aircraft or surface vessels to conduct assigned duties
 At least 5 years of experience within the last 10 years as a Special Warfare Combatant-Craft Crewman (SWCC) (must not have been removed) or 10 years of experience within the last 15 years as a U.S. Navy Intelligence Analyst (preferably Special Operations Forces or Joint Special Operations plans, operations, or training or exercise positions)
 Achievement of SWCC Senior qualification
 At least 5 years of experience serving as U.S. Navy/Naval Special Warfare (NSW) Instructor
 At least 2 years of experience using NSW Surface Maritime Mission Planning and CIP/COP and mission management tools
 Familiarity with the military decision-making process, troop-leading procedures, and special operations mission management tools
