About the Role

Position Overview

RMGS, Inc. is currently recruiting an Administrative Curriculum Specialist/Learning Standards Officer Liaison in Virginia Beach, Virginia, in support of Special Operations Forces. This position is contingent upon contract award.

Roles and Responsibilities

 Serve as the curriculum and instructor development subject matter expert
 Assist in designing, developing, and continuously reviewing curriculum and all training products to ensure their currency, applicability, accuracy, and accomplishment of training objectives
 Assist in managing the instructor development program, including qualifications, training file documentation, and instructor currency
 Assist in conducting extensive technical analyses to provide recommendations on new courses or updates to existing courses
 Assist in conducting site visits to validate the effectiveness of training courses and compile reports
 Recommend performance aids
 Assist in designing instructional components, including sequencing and clustering learning events and knowledge retention objectives, task learning relationships, and instructional design plans, as well as training and performance evaluation measures
 Assist in developing data-collection instruments (i.e., interviews, questionnaires, instructor evaluations, student critiques, and checklists)
 Assist in organizing or participate in validation workshops
 Inform the Government of any setbacks or shortfalls


Required Qualifications and Experience

 Secret security clearance
 Valid state driver’s license
 Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel
 Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with others both verbally and in writing
 Honorable discharge from military service
 No loss of applied specialization(s) during military career
 At least 10 years of experience within the last 15 years in a Learning Standards Officer role
 At least 5 years of experience with U.S. Navy or equivalent Master Training Specialist Program, Learning and Development Program, Naval Education and Training Learning Assessment System, and Learning Management System
 Must possess a bachelor's degree with a strong emphasis in writing
