About the Role

Position Overview

RMGS, Inc. is currently recruiting an Administrative Specialist/Doctrine Writer in Virginia Beach, Virginia, in support of Special Operations Forces. This position is contingent upon contract award.

Roles and Responsibilities

 Work closely with subject matter experts to assist in designing, developing, managing, and refining Special Warfare Combatant-Craft Crewman operational, organizational structure, and training and readiness policy and doctrine and standard operating procedures
 Manage a document library
 Participate in meetings and working groups
 Assist in developing, preparing, and publishing a variety of documents and reports
 Assist in conducting research on real-world situations, lesson learned, tactics, and manuals

Requirements 

Required Qualifications and Experience

 Secret security clearance
 Valid state driver’s license
 Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel
 Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with others both verbally and in writing
 Honorable discharge from military service
 No loss of applied specialization(s) during military career
 At least 5 years of experience in the last 10 years in an administrative writing position, including doctrine design
 Bachelor’s degree in a related field with a background in technical writing
