About the Role

Position Overview

RMGS, Inc. is currently recruiting an Administrative Curriculum Specialist/Course Curriculum Model Manager in Virginia Beach, Virginia, in support of Special Operations Forces. This position is contingent upon contract award.

Roles and Responsibilities

 Assist with designing, developing, maintaining, and modernizing course curriculum
 Work closely with the Learning Standards Officer to revise and modify curriculum and training products and inform the Curriculum Control Authority of any setbacks to meeting the projected schedule
 Ensure Course Supervisors and other required personnel have access to the most up-to-date curriculum and training materials (i.e., lesson plans, instructor guides, trainee guides, tests, and instructional media material) as required
 Assist in maintaining all training items in the course’s Master Training Plan
 Assist with coordinating, scheduling, and facilitating Formal Course Reviews
 Ensure the currency of training, providing input to curriculum management personnel


Required Qualifications and Experience

 Secret security clearance
 Valid state driver’s license
 Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel
 Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with others both verbally and in writing
 Honorable discharge from military service
 No loss of applied specialization(s) during military career
 At least 10 years of experience within the last 15 years in a Course Curriculum Model Manager role
 Master’s degree in a related field with a background in writing
 Extensive knowledge of Naval Education and Training Command systems, processes, and certification requirements
