Pantheon Data was founded in 2011, initially providing acquisition and supply chain management services to the US Coast Guard. Our service offerings have grown in the past ten years, including infrastructure resiliency, contact center operations, information technology, software engineering, program management, strategic communications, engineering, and cybersecurity. We have also grown our customer base to include commercial clients. The company has used this experience to expand our service offerings to other agencies within the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), the Department of Defense (DoD), and other Federal Civilian Agencies.

About the Role

Position Overview

Pantheon Data has a need for a Structural Naval Architect that is looking to continue their maritime experience with an awesome team. This candidate will work within the Ship Design Team to engineering support to the United States Coast Guard on a variety of acquisition and sustainment projects.

Requirements 

Required Skills and Experience

Ability to conduct stability studies, assist with inclining experiments and weight and stability tests, and oversee design development;
Experience with computer applications relating to naval architecture and ship design;
Experience with corrosion principles of metals for surface assets and boats;
Familiarity with USN, USCG, IACS and/or commercial ship design rules and regulations.
Experience / Certification Requirement

Three (3) years as a Naval Architect / Marine Engineer designing structural and strength components for shipboard use, experience with marine structural codes, and development and use of structural analysis calculations;
DoD ACAT I or DHS Level I shipbuilding programs preferred.
Education

BS or MS in a Technical, Engineering, or Marine field

Clearance Requirements

U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.
