About the Role

Our IT Consultants are responsible for supporting Department of Defense clients in achieving Financial Improvement and Audit Remediation (FIAR) objectives. IT Consultants will support meetings and walkthroughs with business process owners, will develop Process Cycle Memoranda and document internal controls for IT systems, and will support the development and implementation of Corrective Actions related to IT systems to remediate findings from external auditors. Additionally, IT Consultants will help clients improve the efficiency of their operations and end-to-end financial management and reporting processes. Ideal IT Consultant candidates are:

Requirements:

U.S. Citizenship (Required)
3 or more years of relevant experience in a related field (Required)
Active Secret Clearance or the ability to obtain a Secret Clearance (Required)
BA/BS Degree in an IT or related field (Required)
This position will require both on-site and remote work capabilities.
Skills:

Advise federal clients on their IT internal controls program.
Develop solutions to improve and optimize federal IT internal controls programs.
Ability to test and assess IT internal controls.
Ability to perform root cause analysis on deficiencies.
Ability to develop and implement corrective actions to remediate IT findings.
Ability to develop SOPs, policies and procedures for IT internal controls.
Ability to support of the development, design, and implementation of corrective actions.
Ability to test and/or develop a wide range of IT internal controls including configuration management, access controls, etc.
Ability to apply relevant DLA, DoD, NIST, and FISCAM guidance when providing recommendations to the client.
Document business process flows, business process narratives, and associated business process documentation based on client input.
Prepare reports and present recommendations to communicate controls status, risks, and updates to policies and procedures.
Assist with the scheduling and presentation material for all status meetings with the client.
