About the Role
We are looking for a highly experienced professional to provide key technical leadership within our Firm and with client executive leadership. The role requires proven expertise in delivering high-level support, either conducting an audit or providing audit sustainment and remediation services, for a U.S. Federal Agency with an annual budget authority of $30B or greater. This is a key role working directly with Firm executive leadership to be intimately involved in the direction and future of the Firm.

BA/BS Degree (Required).
15 years of related work experience (Required).
Must live in greater Washington D.C. region: DC, MD, or VA. This is currently a remote work job. The candidate must be available to meet the client and client leadership in person.
Active SECRET Clearance (Preferred).
Skills:
Expertise leading audit or audit remediation activities for a Federal Agency.
Federal G-Invoicing experience preferred
Expert knowledge and practical application of OMB A-136 and GAO Yellow Book requirements.
Expertise in OMB A-123 and GAO Green Book.
Detailed knowledge and application of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS), Government Auditing Standards (GAS), and the Financial Audit Manual (FAM).
Develop and maintain strong, productive working relationships with client personnel, assess clients' satisfaction, and proactively maintain contact with the client throughout the period of performance of a contract.
Direct field work while informing supervisors of the engagement status and staff performance
Demonstrate a thorough understanding of complex accounting and auditing concepts and apply them in support of client audit readiness and remediation activities.
Contribute ideas/opinions to the teams and listen/respond to other team members' views.
Foster an efficient, innovative, and team-oriented work environment
Use technology to continually learn, share knowledge with team members and enhance service delivery
Develop an understanding of LC service lines and actively seek/encourage team members to contribute ideas and identify opportunities to apply the firm's services
