About the Role

We are looking for an Account Manager who will be responsible for providing superior customer service to all clients, carriers and sales executives.

Location: Hybrid, work from home. In office twice a quarter.


WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Fields and responds promptly to client inquiries regarding their personal insurance and general product knowledge via phone, mail and e-mail, in professional and courteous manner and adhering to agency guidelines
Maintains proper file documentation including properly documenting all phone calls, correspondence, faxes and emails in AMS 360 activity log
Prioritizes work flow and follows standard procedures for processing applications, policy changes, renewals, endorsements, riders and cancellations
Accurately processes policy changes on provider websites or via fax/email and follows up with carriers to ensure all applications and any policy changes are processed in a timely manner
Assumes ownership of customer concerns and feedback until the resolution is successfully accomplished
Reviews client exposures, loss experience and current coverage and provides proactive solutions, and recommends appropriate products and services
Remarkets accounts and obtains quotes with other carriers to confirm that the client’s current program is best product option and provides new quotes to clients
Assists with the solicitation of new accounts and retention of renewing accounts and looks for new sales opportunities by cross selling
Complies with all internal procedures and practices while demonstrating the ability to meet service performance and quality standards
Contributes to a team effort by accomplishing related results as needed


Requirements 

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
Possession and maintenance of a New Jersey Insurance License
Minimum one (1) year prior insurance experience
Strong customer service skills with an ability to assess insurance coverage needs
Excellent communication and diplomacy skills to resolve client issues
Articulate, well organized and proficient at multi-tasking
Goal oriented and highly motivated and resourceful to achieve results
Ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment
Proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant company proprietary databases
