Consultant - Sr. Analyst, Acquisition and Logistics Systems

 

Max Wix is an independent consultant working in the Northern Virginia/Washington DC Metro Area. He provides DOD Acquisition and Logistics policy subject matter expertise and Total Life Cycle Systems Management capabilities. He is also a DAWIA Level III Certified Program Logistics Manager. Max currently provides support to Marine Corps Systems Command, Quantico, VA.

 

Max transitioned from the Marine Corps in 1998, having served in every facet a Marine can encounter. He served in logistics support to two Infantry Battalions, Reconnaissance, 3rd Assault Amphibious Vehicle Battalion, two Helicopter Marine Aircraft Groups (one in Vietnam), Marine Air Control Group 38, 1st and 3rd Marine “Division Supply” tours, Camp Pendleton Base Logistics Chief, Supply Officer/Chief CSSD-36 (Iwakuni), 1st FSSG SMU SNCOIC, Marine Security Guard New Delhi and Seoul, Recruiter (Idaho), Supply Officer/Chief Edson Range MCRD, HQMC Supply and Maintenance Management Analyst (FSMAO-2) and transitioned out after 29 years of Service as the Supply Operations and Analysis Chief of the Marine Corps. He has continued supporting Marines and serving the Marine Corps as civil service or as a government contractor in his current capacity on MPF Policy; Joint Total Asset Visibility; Interoperability; and support of Marine Corps Systems Command program managers. Max and his wife Gloria currently reside near Nashville, Tennessee and he commutes to Northern Virginia.

 

Max has been a Member of the MEA since 2001 and a Board Member since 2003. He continues to provide support to MEA Members and Marines everywhere through email and phone, reviews resumes and personal assists those in transition.
