John Beiswanger retired from the Marine Corps in 2002 where he was serving with Training and Education Command (TECOM) G3.  Prior to that, he spent two years at the Combined Forces Command C4 in Seoul, S. Korea.  A Logistician by MOS, John started his career as a Combat Engineer, forced lateral move into Motor Transport for augmentation and then later migrated into the logistics field.  Billets included XO and HE/MT Plt Cmdr in 29 Palms, MTO in Okinawa, 3D LAAM Bn MTO at Cherry Point, Project Officer at MCB Camp Lejeune G3, OIC Drivers Training Section at MT School Camp Johnson and a tour at HQMC I&L.
 
Since his retirement in the NoVA area, he has been working in the Defense Contracting environment having worked for UNITECH and then Stanley Associates who were recently purchased by CGI Federal.   John has over 28 years of experience in the field of training from both military and civilian perspective.  His background includes training policy development, project planning and execution, operational and strategic planning, and transportation and logistics management.  He has over 8 years experience in leading/growing Marine Corps Systems Command (MCSC) Commercial Enterprise Omnibus support services (CEOss) account as a prime contractor.  Roles include project management, quality assurance, and liaison positions.  Additional technical project management, logistics support, and training and education leadership within and in support of diverse government and defense-related organizations.  He has extensive management experience in support of Marine Corps Systems Command (MCSC), Marine Corps Combat Development Command (MCCDC) and Marine Corps Training & Education Command (TECOM).  
 
John has been married to his college sweetheart since 1982 (a family record) and they have 5 children.  He did his undergraduate work at Shippensburg University, Shippensburg, PA and received a MS Degree in Education from Old Dominion University.  In his free time he enjoys be a co-owner of CrossFit Stafford and a partner in the MilitaryUniformExchange.com.  
 
John has been a Member of the MEA since 2002.  He continues to provide support to transitioning Marines by also serving as the Quantico Transition Assistance Program (TAP) representative.
