Native of Chicago, Illinois.

Graduated from Southern Illinois University with a BA in Design.

Attended Office Candidate School at Quantico, Virginia and commissioned a second lieutenant. Graduated from the Basic School and Ground Supply Officers’ School receiving a military occupational specialty (MOS) of 3002/Ground Supply Officer. Held additional MOSs as 0402/Logistics Officer, 0430/Embarkation Officer and 9702/Joint Tour Specialist. Served in a number of staff, Officer in Charge and command positions with Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, 3rd Marine Division, 1st Marine Logistics Group (MLG), 3rd MLG and Headquarters Marine Corps (HQMC). Did joint tours with the Defense Logistics Agency, Navy Secretariat and Office of the Secretary of Defense. Retired from the Marine Corps as a lieutenant colonel in 2001.

2001-2006 Senior Program Analyst, SRA International, Inc. performing Automatic Identification Technology logistics related work in support of the Logistics Vision and Strategy Branch (Code LPV), Logistics Plans, Policies and Strategic Mobility Division, Installations and Logistics Department, Headquarters Marine Corps.

2006-Present Federal Civil Service position with HQMC as a Program Analyst in the Services Branch (Code LFS), Facilities and Services Division, Installations and Logistics Department, Headquarters Marine Corps.
