Current Need: The Generics Program Manager will be responsible for understanding and maximizing the generics market penetration with Independent and Small Medium Chain (ISMC) customers. The Generics Program Manager will serve as functional expert in the ISMC space, managing designated Buying Groups and strategic accounts, analytics, and compliance management. The Generics Program Manager will work to develop processes to track, analyze, and report on customer profitability and identify new expansion opportunities, with an understanding of the pricing models.
Position Description: • Generics Program Manager will support Field Sales to maximize designated Buying Group and/or Customer generic purchase penetration in the ISMC segment. • Understand and communicate (written and/or verbal) subject matter expertise on generic sell side products, programs & pricing for the ISMC channel to maintain, increase and generic sales. • Work in concert with the Pricing team to develop customer pricing models to support field sales teams to expand McKesson footprint. • Develop Generic sales program that offers differentiated value while maintaining profit thresholds • Collaborate with Field Sales in the development and execution of value added Generic sales strategies for targeted customers and buying groups. • Actively support Field Sales Managers, Sales Executives and VP’s in achieving yearly sales and profit plan goals for the targeted accounts • Analyze opportunities for McKesson to expand generic products, services, and pricing strategies while examining market channels and exploring innovative business opportunities • Manage the compilation, analysis, and reporting of data to forecast trends • Contribute to process improvement initiatives and innovative initiatives to increase sales and margin • Report on key initiatives and progress to executive leadership teams
Minimum Requirements: • 5+ years of product management experience including 2+ years managerial experience
Critical Skills: • 3+ years of program management, including P&L analytics • 3+ years of sales or client service experience • Highly organized with the ability to multitask and prioritize workload • Demonstrated ability to influence individuals and exercise good judgment in a fast paced decision-making environment is required • Strong analytical capabilities. Excel spreadsheet skills and spreadsheet analysis techniques required • Strong communication skills especially in the area of verbal/written communication with customers • Ability to think logically and analytically, problem-solve, build consensus, and lead initiatives • Marketing/Strategy experience a plus

The Position: We’re looking for a Senior Development Program Manager that is responsible for the overall management of the development activities associated with delivery of a next generation high speed cash processing system to a leading global customer. The development consists of a number highly technical work streams aligned to a specific area of the system (and/or associated technical disciplines) – each work streams is a complex development and is managed by a team of Development Project Manager accordingly. As such, the Senior Development Program Manager must work closely with the development team to ensure that all development and integration activities are coordinated on time and to cost.
This position will must adhere to a disciplined project management framework to plan, execute, track, and report on project progress, risk and schedule. A strong technical background is required to effectively communicate with multiple internal and external stakeholders, assess progress, and understand technical decisions and how they affect the program.
Qualifications: • Educated to Degree level with a Bachelor of Science in a relevant technical discipline (engineering preferable) • Must hold a formal project management qualification (PMP or Prince 2 preferable)
Experience: • Minimum of 8 years’ experience working on large, complex, multi discipline development programs within a technical industry • A proven track record overseeing large engineering / product development projects from inception to delivery, closely tracking to schedule and cost. • Experience planning and tracking a project from a financial perspective – establishing and executing a spend plan, cash flow plan and payment milestones, etc. • Experience leading and co-coordinating project reviews with internal and external stakeholders • Experience of working within proven development methodologies (Agile, Waterfall and/or APQP desirable) • Experience managing projects requiring hardware and software integration preferable • Experience in the cash processing industry or adjacent industry would be highly advantageous but not essential
