WBB is a mid-sized government contractor headquartered in Reston, Virginia. We are currently seeking a Records Data Manager with a current active Secret clearance and data management experience. This role is expected to go through September 2017, but has the potential to extend.

JOB TITLE: Records Data Management Specialist

Note: This is a temporary position expected to go through September 2017.

PROJECT OVERVIEW: 

The Marine Corps Center for Lessons Learned (MCCLL) actively collects, analyzes, publishes, and archives lessons learned materials to include observations, insights, lessons, trends, after action reports, and Marine Corps lessons learned reports. These efforts support training and planning for both exercises and operations, and the war fighting capability development process. WBB provides contractor support to meet operational goals of the MCCLL headquarters in Quantico in the following three areas: 1) analysis, 2) records/data management, and 3) software/server lifecycle maintenance.

JOB DESCRIPTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  •  Catalogue and archive lessons learned records, documents, and other electronic data in both the classified (SECRET) and unclassified/FOUO systems
  •  Assist in maintaining/updating lesson learned system webpage content and system user guides; as required
  •  Provide functionality testing for system upgrades
  •  Maintain monthly newsletter and other distribution lists
  •  Research/mine data to answer requests for information and literature searches in support of MCCLL analysts
  •  Maintain system user accounts and profile information of subscribers ensuring relevant user profile information is current
  •  Administer electronic surveys using Vovichi/Verent electronic survey application
  •  Designs/redesigns webpages including layout, form, fit, function and codes changes utilizing HTML, in accordance with customer’s input

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Security Clearance: Secret

  •  Education: Completed AA degree
  •  Three to five (3-5) years of experience in data management
  •  Experience in MS Office software programs, Adobe Acrobat Professional, and research proficiency
  •  Four (4) years USMC military service background with experience in computer operations
  •  Proficient in HTML design and best practices 

DESIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:  

  •  Education: BS/BA degree
  •  Excellent written and verbal skills
  •  MAGTF operations experience and understanding of USMC and MAGTF organization, roles, and responsibilities
  •  Experience with the MCCLL program including tracking, development, and sourcing using MCCLL Battle Board System, Lessons Management System, and Daily Download Repositories
  •  Five to ten (5-10) years of experience in data management
  •  Two to four (2-4) years experience in electronic survey administration
  •  Two to four (2-4) years experience in analysis and interpretation of survey results
