Are you ready to join one the Best Places to Work in Virginia? The Professional Services Team at SimVentions is seeking an experienced program management analyst who is motivated to assist the Navy in making informed decisions for the Warfighter.
The Program Management Analyst will work very closely with the Program Executive Office (PEO) Integrated Warfare Systems (IWS) in the development and evolution of a strategic planning tool that will enhance the Navy’s delivery of capability needs to surface combatants. This position will require local travel in the DC Metro Area including Fredericksburg and Dahlgren, VA.
Establish and maintain a highly detailed database, helping government client manage priorities, cost, and schedule.
Printing, sorting, updating and maintaining charts, schedules and program artifacts is an active war room environment.
Perform database entry and maintain configuration management of the data.
Interface with customers, and base support personnel, to ensure timeliness and meeting of all sponsor requirements.
Provide professional and informed inputs to program artifacts.
Prepare and assist in presenting formal status briefings.
Assist in facilitating meetings, capturing minutes and action items.
Required Skills and Experience:
The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 3 years of experience directly supporting program management and engineering activities for the US Navy.
The candidate shall be knowledgeable in common Navy processes.
The candidate shall be proficient at assisting customers in planning, execution, and management of project requirements, and shall possess strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
The candidate shall be proficient in the use of typical office applications (Project, PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited school
