Must possess a valid driver’s license issued by the State where the applicant resides and must be insurable as defined in the UT System BPM 16-05-02, as applicable to the performance of essential duties and responsibilities of the position.

 

Purpose of Position

Responsible for assisting in the processing data for maintenance of the equipment, space and key inventories through the use of a computer terminal.

 

Essential Functions

Records and maintains files on all tagged property

Works directly with all campus departments to determine location of purchased property

Conducts physical inventories within the university campus

Assists with the training of student-employees

Knowledge of all Microsoft Office software and able to learn and use institutional software systems.

Complies with all State and University policies.

Other duties may be assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s objectives, policies and applicable laws.

 

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or general education degree (GED).

Two years of experience, related to the statement of duties and responsibilities;

or equivalent combination of education and experience.

 

Preferred Qualifications

Advance knowledge in Excel

Bilingual

Experience with PeopleSoft
