The I MEF G-6 has an open IM/KM SharePoint Administrator position at 1st MARDIV (Camp Pendleton). As this is an immediate requirement we will keep this open for our subcontractors to fill for one month.
This is a full-time, indefinite position with an immediate start. Attached, is the position description for the work.
Required abilities and credentials:
Install, configure, maintain, upgrade, and manage a SharePoint farm environment.
Configure all service applications to include search, metadata, user profile synchronization, farm deployment, and high availability.
Knowledgeable on the creation and management of a content database; ability to conduct maintenance of various logging databases in SQL Server.
Daily management and assignment of proper permission levels for all users of the SharePoint sites, as well as configuring anonymous access.
Ability to configure timer jobs depending on client’s data recovery and content backup requirements.
Knowledge of windows PowerShell to execute scripts to decrease deployment time.
Ability to support the training of business users in their day-to-day involvement with SharePoint sites; common subjects are creating and manipulating document libraries, list, and workflows.
Solid understanding of the operation and integration of Internet Information Systems (IIS), Active Directory, and Main Configuration as pertains to SharePoint.
Strong understanding of integration techniques using Out of the Box (OOB) SharePoint features (e.g. Online Services, Exchange, One Drive, My Sites).
Additional Preferred Qualifications:
Military experience preferred, but not required.
Certified in or ability to attain:
-Comptia Security +
-Microsoft SharePoint Serve 2016 Certifications
Ability to work in field environment approximately 15-20% of time.
