The Curriculum Developer reports to and receives work direction derivatives from the Project Manager. The Curriculum Developer will perform the following duties:
  • Review and analyze the C2 Training and Readiness Manual (C2 T&R) tasks and produce learning objectives
  • Determine the learning objectives and task relationships, cluster learning events, organize course content, and develop instruction design plans for the above courses
  • Provide C2 TECOE curriculum administration and management services, and ensure the POI material is accessible to all C2 TECOE and MISTCs Instructors and Staff via the Marine Corps Training and Information Management Systems (MCTIMS)
  • Analyze, design, develop, and evaluate master lesson files for C2 Systems POIs
  • Submit curriculum reports to the C2 TECOE Curriculum Section
  • Provide a Record of Proceedings for all Learning Analysis, Master Lesson File (MLF) Reviews, and Course Content Review Boards (CRRBs) curriculum events for designated C2 Systems POIs.
  • Manage C2 TECOE C2 systems training student throughput data in the Marine Corps Training Information Management System MCTIMS for designated POIs.
  • Attend and provide After Action Reports from Joint, Service, and Inter-Service C2 systems training meetings, teleconferences, and Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) membership meetings related to assigned POIs.
  • Develop draft C2 system POI review schedules for designated POIs.
  • Consolidate MISTC course critique information provided by the MISTC Government Site Leads for TBMCS and Information Management POIs. Analyze the data and provide the results summary to the C2 TECOE Curriculum Development Section Head.
  • Perform other related duties incidental to the work described


  • Curriculum Development Course required
  • A minimum of three (3)¬†years developing curriculum at a USMC schoolhouse
  • Experience with USMC Information Management practices preferred
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Strong communication and presentation skills. Able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.¬† Able to design and write clear communications and present training programs.
  • Proficient in computer applications such as Windows and MS Office
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Excellent organizational, planning and prioritization skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills


  • Ability to obtain or have a security clearance
