NetCentrics provides the Department of Defense, Department of Homeland Security and other federal agencies with leading IT services including IT Strategy, mission applications, infrastructure and platform services, cloud solutions, service delivery and cybersecurity.
Specific duties include:
Knowledge of hardware and software configuration management concepts, goals, benefits and standard strategies to achieve those goals.
Knowledge in leading a communications campaign to promote awareness and acceptance of the CM program, and develops and conducts individual and group CM training workshops and seminars accordingly.
Possess experience in effectively tracking, logging, categorizing, and maintaining changes made against the accepted Army baseline standards ensuring that the customer’s CM program is in compliance.
Knowledge of developing, distributing, and tracking all change request packages resulting from Configuration Control Board actions.
Skill maintaining a master library of both mission and support software, including Critical Success Factors (CSFs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Skill in maintaining current inventories of all network and systems-related hardware.
Skill in developing reports to satisfy downward-directed data calls, audits, warranty and other maintenance support contracts/agreements, lifecycle management and budget projections.
Knowledge of Active Directory (AD) management and reporting tools, PowerShell scripts, and other DoD and Army-approved applications needed to conduct on-line queries and produce ad hoc CM-related reports.
Possess experience in continuously monitoring the execution of the CM program and initiates updates to ensure it remains consistent with the organization’s current culture and IT Service Management strategy
rack and manage Requests for Change (RFCs) to the production IT Infrastructure
Coordinate and facilitate Change Advisory Group and Enterprise Change Control Board meetings
Prepare briefing materials for board meetings
Review RFCs to ensure required documentation is provided to support the request
Analyze RFCs, based on specified criteria, to determine the type of change and the appropriate board to review the change package
Coordinate changes with stakeholders
Evaluate and recommend improvements to change management processes and procedures
Track, maintain, and report on all RFCs, including failures, and metrics related to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and status
Work collaboratively with Government employees in different organizations and with other contractors
Quickly understand the customer’s goals and objectives
Convey technical concepts and information succinctly and effectively, in writing and orally, to non-technical personnel
Maintain Change Management process and procedures documents
Clearance: Secret DoD clearance or higher
Experience providing configuration management planning
Must have experience with provisions for configuration identification, change control, configuration status accounting, and configuration audits
Will have demonstrated experience regulating the change process so that only approved and validated changes are incorporated into product documents and related software
