GovSource, Inc. (GSI) is recruiting a Mobile Training Team (MTT) of former U.S. military officers or NCOs tasked to develop and enhance Combat Training Center (CTC) operations and Unit Training Management (UTM) processes for officers, noncommissioned officers (NCOs), and Soldiers serving in the National Guard of Ukraine (NGU).
The MTT will be comprised of a Project Manager/ Senior Curriculum Developer who will be responsible for performance oversight and coordination management of the contract. He will also lead/synchronize the MTT’s SME’s who are assigned as Instructor/ Curriculum Developer’s, the curriculum development and instructional efforts.
Project Manager/ Senior Curriculum Developer:
Minimum Qualifications: The PM shall possess the following experience, attributes, skills and qualities: Retired senior field-grade U.S. military officer from a combat arms branch that has commanded at the battalion level or higher and served in senior positions at a U.S. Army Combat Training Center and Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC). Minimum two (2) years of experience supervising defense transformation in NATO aspirant countries as well as extensive education and experience in strategic, operational, and tactical training management processes and related concepts.
Curricula Processes Subject Matter Expert (CP-SME):
Minimum Qualifications: Retired senior field-grade U.S. military officer who has commanded at the battalion level or higher and served in senior positions at a U.S. Army Combat Training Center and TRADOC with extensive education and experience in tactical staff processes as well as adult education theory and related concepts. The CP-SME will routinely interact with students of all courses, senior officials of the NGU faculty and shall possess the interpersonal skills necessary to assist, mentor and guide the development and implementation of sound courses.
Unit Training Management Subject Matter Expert (UTM-SME):
Minimum Qualifications: Former U.S. Army field-grade officer or senior NCO who has extensive experience at echelons above Brigade in G-7 Military Education and Training assignments. The UTM-SME will routinely interact with students of all courses, senior officials of the NGU faculty, senior officials at major subordinate commands and shall possess the interpersonal skills necessary to assist, mentor and guide the development and implementation ofstrategic, operational, and tactical planning and management systems.
Combat Training Center Subject Matter Expert (CTC-SME):
Minimum Qualifications: Former U.S. Army field-grade officer or senior NCO that has served in senior positions at the Joint Readiness Training Center (JRTC), National Training Center (NTC), or Joint Multinational Readiness Center (JMRC) with extensive experience and knowledge in all aspects of the internal operations of a CTC. The CTC-SMEwill routinely interact with students of all courses, senior officials of the NGU faculty, and senior officials at major subordinate commands and shall possess the interpersonal skills necessary to assist, mentor and guide the development and implementation of strategic, operational, and tactical planning and management systems.
Observer Controller Trainer Subject Matter Expert (OC/T-SME):
Minimum Qualifications: Former U.S. Army field-grade officer or senior NCO that has served in senior OC/T positions at the Joint Readiness Training Center (JRTC), National Training Center (NTC), or Joint Multinational Readiness Center (JMRC) with extensive experience and knowledge on all aspects executing the duties of an OC/T and training requirements of professional OC/T. The OC/T-SME will routinely interact with students of all courses, senior officials of the NGU faculty, and senior officials at major subordinate commands and shall possess the interpersonal skills necessary to assist, mentor and guide the development and implementation of strategic, operational, and tactical planning and management systems.
Leadership Training Program Subject Matter Expert (LTP-SME):
Minimum Qualifications: Retired senior field-grade U.S. military officer that has commanded at the battalion level or higher and previous experience (civilian or military) in a CTC LTP. This individual shall be Military Education Level (MEL) 4 qualified and have extensive education and experience in strategic, operational, and tactical staff processes and related concepts. The LTP-SME will routinely interact with students of all courses, senior officials of the NGU faculty, and senior officials at major subordinate commands and shall possess the interpersonal skills necessary to assist, mentor and guide the development and implementation of strategic, operational, and tactical planning and management systems.

Instructor/ Curriculum Developer personnel will all perform the following duties “Common to All”:

• Guide, advise, and contribute to analysis activities for all curricula.
• Guide, advise, and contribute to design activities for new or revised curricula.
• Guide, advise, and contribute to analysis activities for extant or proposed instructional material.
• Develop/produce instructional material and contribute to others’ production efforts.
• Contribute to standardizing course materials.
• Contribute to quality control efforts for all curricula.
• Serve as subject-matter-expert (SME) for processes and doctrine associated with planning, preparation, and execution at tactical, operational, and strategic levels of war.
• Present instructional material to students of all courses as directed by the NGU faculty commander.
• Mentor members of the NGU faculty.
• Mentor students of all curricula upon request from students or faculty.
• Monitor and advise students and student groups during all exercises executed within the curricula.
• Advise and coach commanders and staffs of tactical units during specified major NGU exercises.

 

Location and Duration of contract: Kyiv and Stare, Ukraine. Contract has a twelve (12) month base period followed by two (2) twelve (12) month options for extension.

 

This job opportunity is contingent upon contract award. If hired employment and travel to SATTOC pre deployment training at Ft. Bragg NC followed by travel to work location will begin immediately.
